ForestTots is family-run, nature-themed sensory play for pre-schoolers in Southend-on-Sea.

My name is Michael, and I started ForestTots with my wife Natalie to give parents something new to do with their little ones- an alternative to screen time! Our activities are relaxing, fun and great for your tot's development.

Natalie is very much the creative mind behind all the activities, and there's nothing we like more than seeing the children that visit us completely immersed!

We do monthly sessions, sensory play kits, and we are also available to hire for birthday parties and events. Get in touch to see if we can help.
What is ForestTots?
ForestTots is sensory play for toddlers! This can be delivered in 3 ways: firstly, through our monthly themed sessions in Southend, secondly through home inspiration via products on our shop and ideas on our blog, and finally through our external hire for birthday parties or events.

ForestTots is 4-5 tuff trays set out with sensory activities designed to imerse the tot in a nature-themed world!
What age is ForestTots for?
While we recommend ForestTots for tots aged between 18months - 6 years, we have had younger and older. We leave it with the parents to decide whether it is suitable. It may not be suitable for younger tots that are experimenting with putting things in their mouths, and supervision is always advised.
What are the benefits of ForestTots?
ForestTots is great for fine motor skills, role play, creativity, cognitive development and it nurtures a love for nature!
Our sessions also have a book tent for tots to settle down for some reading time, and colouring in for some creative space.
When is your next monthly session?
Natalie and I are expecting our second baby in September(!) and we are moving house! So we have taken the difficult decision to pause our monthly sessions until our Pumpkins & Potions session in October!
However, we will be appearing at various markets and fetes over the Summer (check our Facebook/Instagram), and will continue to be available for birthday parties.
